Cinnamon Roll Mug Muffin

Need an easy breakfast that you can take on the go? This cinnamon roll recipe fits perfectly in our mugs and is super simple to make.

Rather have an oven-baked muffin? Our mugs are oven safe! Follow the recipe, then place in the over at 350 for 15-20 minutes instead of putting it in the microwave.

Ingredients:

  • Your favorite pancake mix -Kodiak is best! (1/2 cup)

  • Milk -you can use any kind, I prefer almond (2-3 tablespoons)

  • Maple syrup -or honey works too (1 tablespoon)

  • Vanilla extract (a few drops)

  • Oil or butter (2 tablespoons)

  • Brown sugar and cinnamon mix (2 tablespoons)

Instructions:

  1. Grease the mug with spray, oil, or butter

  2. Combine dry ingredients in the mug (including 1 tablespoon of brown sugar cinnamon mix)

  3. Add melted butter (or oil), vanilla extract, and syrup (or honey)

  4. Add milk one tablespoon at a time until desired thick batter consistency

  5. Add remaining brown sugar cinnamon mix on top and swirl with a butter knife

  6. Microwave for 80-90 seconds

  7. Add icing or syrup on top if you so desire!
